Calling all cat-lovers: has Cloverdale got the ticket for you
23.02.10
Fans of felines, this whole Olympic obsession is nice and all, but it is almost time for the real competition begins.
Dent then your calendars because the Cat Show comes to Cloverdale.
Salon de Chat is a 18-ring show, which attracts entries and exhibitors from across North America.
Pace 12 to 14, the Cat Fanciers of BC-event will be organized during the exciting Cloverdale Show Barn at 6050A 176 St. Surrey.
There will be cats and kittens galore. (But it is a strictly look but do not touch policy.)
The annual three-day exhibition is perhaps to watch different breeds of cats - the royally-self-confident Ragdoll Abyssinian and floofy slope-eared Scottish Bankruptcy and orange-accented Turkish Van - be considered according to the highest standards in the rivalry.
It is also an excellent opportunity to meet breeders and hang out with other cat lovers.
But viewers are warned, you may not get the house empty-handed.Not only will there be vendors selling items for cats and people who are allowed to risk their lives with them, but the TLC Cat rescue organization will be on hand throughout the weekend with lots of kittens and cats seeking a good home.
